Richard Radez has spent his 30 years in the brokerage industry recommending people invest 10% of their portfolios in natural resource related investments – to hedge against worldwide political and economic uncertainties. He founded the International Association of Natural Resource Brokers and is the president of Global Resource Expos.
He also works with select natural resource companies on a consulting basis. David Tice, Manager of the Prudent Bear Fund called Richard “One of the Top Natural Resource Stock Gurus in the Industry today.” He is considered to be one of the leading alternative investment specialists in the country. He has visited over 300 mining properties in 12 countries and 18 states.
Mr. Radez is a graduate of Purdue University and the Wharton Business School S.I.A. Forum. He was recently elected the Indianapolis Stock and Bond Club Member of the year.
In 1975, he started the Walk Jog Run for the American Heart Association at the Indianapolis 500-mile Race Track. That event became the prototype for all fund raising foot races in the United States. In 1985, he raised funds and built the first public playground for handicapped children in Eagle Creek Municipal Park in Indianapolis, Indiana. Both Richard and Senator Dick Lugar were the co-founders of The Indianapolis Jogging Club.
Rich has been an AAU basketball coach for 20 years. Over the years, teams he has coached have won 4 national championships. Some of his former players are now in the N.F.L. and N.B.A. In 1989, he successfully completed the Vermont 100 mile Mountain Endurance Run and is a founding member of the Indy Mini-Marathon, the largest ½ marathon in America.
